What an appropriate verse for me for yesterday and today. Enough said.
“If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless.” James 1:26
Hello!!! I said “enough said.”
“The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole person, sets the whole course of his life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.” James 3:6
Okay. I think I need a glass of water.
“Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers, this should not be.” James 3:10

“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righeous man is powerful and effective.” James 5:16
Okay. Here’s the deal. I’ve been persecuted recently, but I haven’t necessarily been blessing those who have persecuted me. I might have even cursed them. I haven’t necessarily kept a tight rein on my tongue, and even if I never even said it out loud, I’ve been thinking about saying some really bad words. Hey! I’m only human! Alright. It’s true. My tongue has actually been on fire a few times. There. I confessed. Now I would ask for your prayers.
